2 x 400 g can chickpeas, washed, depleted

125 ml (½ container) lemon juice

175 ml olive oil

4 garlic cloves, pounded

200 g minced sheep

1 tsp ground allspice

½ tsp ground cinnamon

2 tsp pomegranate molasses, in addition to additional, to serve

cleaved level leaf parsley, pomegranate seeds and toasted pita bread, to serve

Cook's notes

Broiler temperatures are for regular; if utilizing fan-constrained (convection), lessen the temperature by 20˚C. | We utilize Australian tablespoons and mugs: 1 teaspoon measures up to 5 ml; 1 tablespoon breaks even with 20 ml; 1 container rises to 250 ml. | All herbs are crisp (unless indicated) and mugs are gently stuffed. | All vegetables are medium size and peeled, unless indicated. | All eggs are 55-60 g, unless determined.

Guidelines

Cooling time 5 mins

Place chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, 150 ml oil and 2 garlic cloves in a sustenance processor and process until joined. Include 60 ml warm water and keep on processing until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and put aside.

Warmth remaining 25 ml oil in a skillet over medium warmth. Include remaining garlic and sheep and cook, parting ways with a wooden spoon, for 8 minutes or until the point when sheep is carmelized everywhere. Blend in flavors and keep on cooking for a further 2 minutes. Blend in pomegranate molasses and season. Permit to cool somewhat, at that point spoon sheep blend over hummus. Diffuse with parsley, pomegranate seeds and shower with additional pomegranate molasses. Present with pita bread.
